County Status


Government Services Building and Courthouse:
Open to the public beginning June 8th. Visitors will be screened for temperatures at the entrance and use of face coverings is strongly recommended. 

 Parks and park facilities:

Parks and park amenities with the exception of pavilions will be open to the public as of June 6. Residents are reminded to observe social distancing. Beginning June 15, rentals of pavilions and community centers will resume – gatherings at rented community centers and pavilions may not exceed 50% of standing room capacity. 

City of Flagler Beach will now have its six-mile segment of the beach open 24/7.  Access to the Beach can be accomplished by utilizing only Dune Walkovers throughout the City, to include those on the Boardwalk.  Fishing on the Beach and the walking of pets will continue to be permitted only north of 10th Street North and south of 10th Street South.  Handicapped Parking: Handicapped parking and Beach access will remain available just north of the Pier, at South 2nd Street and SRA1A. The Pier is now open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm with social distancing remaining highly recommended. The Bait Shop will open for take-out only – no guests are permitted inside the shop at this time. 

The unincorporated areas of the beach – inclusive of Beverly Beach and Marineland – will be open 24/7.

The previous "exercise only" limitations for all beaches have been lifted; residents may now both exercise and relax at the beaches. It is still a requirement that all beach goers practice social distancing.

 Public Transportation:
 Public transportation is operational.



  • Palm Coast - Monday through Friday 9 am – 6 pm and Saturday 9 am– 5 pm.
  • Bunnell – Monday through Friday 9 am – 5pm

Entering the Library:

  • All patrons must wear a face mask and have a temperature check upon entering. Use of hand sanitizer will be strongly recommended.


  • Total allowed in Palm Coast during phase 2 = @50% = 250 and Total allowed in Bunnell during phase 2 = 50 @ 50% = 24
  • We continue to encourage patrons to quickly find what they need and enjoy their books or other items from the comfort of their own home.


  • Computer use will resume to normal at two hours per day per patron.
  • Interactive programs, games, puzzles, and use of our meeting room space (no more than 50 people) will resume at this time. Library staff will continue to make available via Facebook and YouTube online videos for story time, crafts and computer related instruction.
  • Summer Reading Program in-person events will resume as of July 2020. Wireless access will continue to be available from the parking lot 24/7.
  • Curbside service will continue. Use of virtual/online resources is highly encouraged.
  • Passport service will be available at Palm Coast no appointment needed except on Saturday and Bunnell is by appointment only.
  • Interlibrary Loan service will resume. No donations at this time.
  • The Library bookshop will re-open at 50% capacity.
  • Quiet reading room will re-open at 50% capacity.


  • Returned items – all items will be quarantined for 24 hours prior to check-in and shelving or redistribution.
  • Fines – will continue to be waived during phase two.
  • Browsing is at your own risk, use of gloves is highly recommended. We cannot be responsible for a patron that looks at an item and places it back in its spot on the shelf. 

 Social Services:

Adult Daycare and the Wickline Center are closed until further notice. All other services are operational, though social distancing measures have been implemented to protect residents and Social Services employees. For more information, call Flagler County Social Services at (386)-586-2324.
