The American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE) Vintage Chapter represents Flagler and St. Johns Counties and the municipalities of Bunnell, Beverly Beach, Flagler Beach, Palm Coast, St. Augustine Beach, and Hastings. The chapter actively promotes the safe operation, increased rider training and increased motorist awareness of motorcycles. The Flagler County Commission recognizes the need for awareness on the part of all drivers with regard for sharing the road with motorcycles. The County Commission also honors the many contributions that motorcyclists make to the communities in which they live.

National Crime Victims Rights Week
The week of April 6 through April 12, 2014 was declared by the Flagler County Commission to be National Crime Victims Rights Week. Some 18.7 million Americans are directly harmed by crime each year and each crime affects many more family members, co-workers and neighbors. National Crime Victims Week provides an opportunity to celebrate the energy, creativity and commitment that launched the victims rights movement, inspired its progress and continues to advance the cause of justice for crime victims.

The Flagler County Commission and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office join forces with victim service providers, criminal justice agencies and concerned citizens throughout Flagler County and the nation to raise awareness of victims rights and observe National Crime Victims Rights Week.
