Flagler County Airport operates as an enterprise fund. All operations of the airport, including salaries, operating expenses, repairs, and major projects are funded by internally generated revenues for sales of fuel, land leases, and hangar rental. The airport does not receive funding from the county’s general fund.
In addition to revenues obtained from airport operations, the airport receives grant funding for capital improvements, operational and safety-related projects, and economic development opportunities from the Florida Department of Transportation
(FDOT) and the FAA.
