Senior Services
About Senior Services
The Senior Services Division provides and/or arranges a variety of services for Flagler County residents that are over the age of 60. Services are funded by grants from the federal Older Americans Act, the state's Community Care for the Elderly program, and the county general fund and include the following:
  • Case management
  • Chores
  • Companionship
  • Congregate dining
  • Counseling
  • Elderly Heat / Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP)
  • Escorting
  • Home delivered meals 
  • Homemaking
  • Information
  • Outreach
  • Public education
  • Recreation
  • Respite care (in-home and in-facility)
  • Screening
  • Telephone reassurance
  • Transportation

Banfield Charitable TrustPet Services 
Senior Services, through a grant from the Banfield Charitable Trust, can now provide food and supplies to those seniors in need of assistance in caring for their pet companions. Funding is limited, with those in greatest need/risk receiving services first. This funding opportunity ends by November 2012.
