Gardening / Landscaping Questions?
The Horticulture Program assistant / Master Gardener coordinator works with the Master Gardener volunteers to answer questions related to landscaping and landscape maintenance and provide educational programs for the citizens of Flagler County. There are 11 demonstration gardens located around the Extension Service building which have been designed, planted, and maintained by the Flagler County Master Gardeners. The gardens are open to the public during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Our horticulture staff or a Master Gardener volunteer are typically on duty each weekday and will try to answer your questions and solve your plant problems. Our office also has free written materials on hundreds of horticulture topics. For a phone consultation, please call (386) 437-7464.
There are times when you will want to discuss your horticulture problem in person. We have a horticulture staff member or Master Gardener here to assist you. It is probably a good idea to call first to find out what you will need to bring in for analysis. If it is necessary to leave your samples, someone will contact you with results and recommendations as soon as possible.
You can contact our office by email
. If you have a digital camera, you can even attach a photo or two of the problem. We are usually able to answer your question within a reasonable amount of time.
