A Window to the World
It’s at your library and in your home! The Flagler County Public Library has a variety of useful online electronic services for patrons to use both in the library and in your home. For more information on any of these services, contact the library at (386) 446-6763.
The Flagler County Public Library offers its card catalog online. Polaris can be found on select computer terminals in the Main Library and at the Bunnell Branch or it can be accessed remotely here
. Patrons may search our collection to determine if an item is in or if it is out, when it is due back, and how many reserves, if any, have been placed on the title.
Public Access Computers
The Main Library has approximately 30 computer terminals available for internet access and loaded with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. The Bunnell Branch has three computer terminals available.
The Main Library now has Wi-Fi wireless capability for those with laptop computers containing a wireless access card. Just remember that the wireless contact is not secure, and it is possible for someone to view your activities on a wireless network. Accordingly, use the same care you would use in any wireless location that has public access.
Microfilm / Microfiche
Patrons are able to conduct research, scan and refine the quality of the material, and then print, email, or download to a floppy disc using touchscreen capabilities. This service is available in the Main Library only and has instructions in English, French, and Spanish.
