Consumer Confidence Report
What is a CCR (Consumer Confidence Report)?
he Federal Consumer Confidence Report Rule requires suppliers of water that serve community water systems to provide consumer confidence reports (CCR) to their customers. These reports are also known as annual water quality reports or drinking water quality reports. The remaining public water systems in the U.S. are not required to provide CCRs.
The CCR summarizes information regarding sources used (i.e., rivers, lakes, reservoirs, or aquifers) any detected contaminants, compliance and educational information.
The reports are due to customers and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection by July 1st of each year.
