The Social Services Department is comprised of three divisions:

Information and Referral
- Human Services, which arranges medical care and emergency rent and utility assistance for low-income adults, in addition to administering a variety of state-mandated services and county grants to non-profit agencies
- Senior Services, which arranges and/or provides a variety of community and in-home support services to individuals over the age of 60
- Adult Day Care, which provides in-facility respite care for functionally impaired adults (over the age of 18)

The conference room in the Social Services building comfortably seats 14 around a large table with additional seating for eight. It is available for use by any social service or governmental agency serving Flagler County. To schedule the conference room please contact Social Services Staff Assistant Jan Ewer

Companionship / Reassurance Volunteers
Senior Services is looking for volunteers to provide an hour or two of companionship per week to homebound clients or to provide daily telephone reassurance, which can be done from the volunteer’s home.
Meals on Wheels Drivers
The Meals on Wheels program is looking for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to our clients. Substitute drivers are also needed.
