During most of the month of November, and, in recognition of Veteran’s Day, The Friends of the Library of Flagler County will be displaying an exhibit of Jewish Medal of Honor recipients. The display highlights the valor of the 16 Jewish men who have this award of supreme sacrifice. The exhibit is coordinated by Jerry Abrams, Senior Vice Commodore for Florida’s Jewish War Veterans. Each panel of the exhibit will highlight the experience, contribution and sacrifice made by each recipient.
