The drive-thru shot clinic scheduled for this Saturday (Oct. 28) by the Flagler County Health Department has been cancelled due to a late shipment of the flu vaccine.
Patrick Johnson, Health Department Director, said other flu vaccine clinics planned by the Health Department will remain on schedule as long as supplies last but without a new shipment of the vaccine there will not be enough to conduct the drive-thru though clinic.
“We have been informed that our shipment will not arrive until after Oct. 30,” Johnson said. The department had planned to put on the drive-thru clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Johnson said the department does not plan to reschedule the drive-thru clinic but all other clinics will continue as scheduled.
