There are times when you will want to discuss your horticulture problem in person. We have a horticulture staff member or Master Gardener here to assist you. It is probably a good idea to call first to find out what you will need to bring in for analysis. If it is necessary to leave your samples, someone will contact you with results and recommendations as soon as possible. Email
You can contact our office by email at rmicieli@flaglercounty.org . If you have a digital camera, you can even attach a photo or two of the problem. We are usually able to answer your question within a resonable amount of time. Soil pH Tested on Tuesday
You can have your soil pH (acidity/alkalinity) tested at our office. Just bring in one measuring cupful of soil at least one day prior to testing. Collect soil samples from a four to six inch depth. Separate soil samples that are from a problem area. Don't mix them with samples from a good area. The pH testing is free of charge. We will mail the results to you by the end of the week. If you need the results immediately, you can call the next business day. Plant Diagnostics
